Passes by. 

my mom would quote this since I was a child.  Once she dumped some kraft Mac and Cheese down the sink when I was literally standing behind her with my empty bowl! 

She didn't know I wanted some, and when I started whining she said she was sorry, but... too late! And the rest of it.  

The Lemonade Man

What is a lollipop man?  I found out a few years back that in Belfast, at least when my mum was a child, the ice cream man was not a common thing. They had the Lemonade Man! From what I can gather, this Lemonade man was the very same that would double as the man with the lollipops. Sometimes at night I will have a hard time sleeping because I wonder how they managed to keep the lemonade spilling inside the man's cart if it was sold by the cup. I worry about this man opening his cart and finding lollipops floating in a sea of Lemonade.
